Security Systems for an Embassy

An embassy would be amongst the list of buildings that would require a high level security system. While all buildings would be at risk of burglary or vandalism an embassy would have another layer of threat which needs to be addressed.

As any embassy is the office that represents their government while abroad, it could be seen as a target in certain circumstances. For this high level security requirement project, TEC Security were happy to take on the project of completing a security system installation at the embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Dublin City recently.

Protection

The security solution for embassies protects not only the site and the staff but needs to be rigorous to take into account visiting dignitary and their safety. Staff need to be able to monitor the perimeter of the building allowing them to identify anybody trying to gain entry illegally. In the unlikely event of protests, staff need to be able to monitor the entrance area to gauge any immediate threats.

Safe Working Environment

In any embassy, systems must monitor and record those entering and exiting 24 hours a day every day of the year. This monitoring is key to providing a safe working environment. As is typical for TEC Security, we provided a state of the art system designed specifically for our client. We listened to their needs and concerns, used our expert opinion to suggest the best technical option. Once agreed, we installed it with as little disruption as possible. TEC staff are all security experts with many years’ experience and we are licensed by the Private Security Authority.

Once the project was completed we were delighted to receive a letter of thanks from Costas A Papademas, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus.
